Drawing Man City in the 4th round has already seen the club benefit significantly whether we beat Cardiff or not. Tuesday is looking like a bumper crowd close to sell out and many have already purchased tickets for the Cheltenham game as well to guarantee priority tickets for the Man City tie if we progress.
Just wondering how many tickets we would have sold for next Tuesday's replay if we had drawn Newport or Yeovil in the 4th round, I would estimate 4000 at the very most.
Really pleased for the Radford's as this game will bring in unexpected/unbudgeted revenue, even if we sell 7,500 tickets for Tuesday and an extra 500 for the Cheltenham game = £100k extra just from ticket sales, plus revenue from programmes, food, drink etc. Take away match days fees and % to Cardiff should still clear a tidy sum.
