Coming back on the bus Sat someone mentioned that JR was thinking of Barcelona rather than Malta next year for pre season, not to play Barca obviously  but probably take on a local side at the same sort of level as us.
Has anyone else heard this?

Heard Tenerife and Inverness mentioned while in Malta.
Evans will NOT return there.
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

Why would Evans not return to Malta?

I would love Inverness, a lot of my family live an hour away from there in Buckie. Went up in August, beautiful place!

He was there last year when the terrorist attack happened.
Quicker to get there than Malta and Inverness :mtfc:
And a lot cheaper.

I've heard Portugal a few times after the football league meeting was held there in the summer. I believe Shrewsbury, Wrexham and Derby have been there in the past. Then again everyone has heard something different!

I have heard from a reliable HP sauce that its none of the above... Tenerife was a potential, but they are looking somewhere where people wouldn't think of!

Average temperature in the destination is 19degrees in July. The place gets 'Rapidly' booked up, so they'l need to be quick in organizing it.

They are my only clues!

Bobby will be happy then, although i know from his days at Torquay he said he considered himself to be more Polish.

I've always been a big Admira of Austria anyway.

I recently watched a preseason game with Maidstone versus RC Calais. They were a third div French outfit and have 25k all seater stadium - It's all too close to those hypermarkets!

It’s a great looking ground. Not too far from the port.

They built it on the back of a run all the way to the French Cup Final a few years ago.
