Peter Mayhew up top would fit our direct forward play perfectly. Go get him Evo!

Someone the Radford's know well apparently so he's left them to deal with it

Is Donny a person? Because of you mean Doncaster Rovers, they are not in the championship. Unless you mean thats the club they know him from. If so it must narrow down the potential signing.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I think we're a good couple of players plus Byrom being fit from being top 3.

We should really already be there or very close by with the players and budget we've got.

It's a big window for us. We can achieve promotion if we put something decent tho ether.

Cambridge United are also interested in Ricky Miller.

"According to reports in the Peterborough Telegraph , six League Two teams are in for the striker. Lincoln City, Grimsby Town, Notts County and Mansfield Town are among those teams, but managers of all four sides have cooled their interest today."

A big man is exactly what we're lacking. Not to start but to come on and be an effective target man. Rose is being wasted having to be the target at the moment. Hem and Angol refuse to even try and compete in the air so there is room for that kind of player in the sqaud.

I don't know anything about Miller, but assault on Police will make him an instant hero in the eyes of some of our neanderthals on here.

I don’t disagree. But if Evans thought we needed more presence up top, I’m not sure why Spencer isn’t getting a look in, ad the only striker who can put himself about, and why he keeps bring Anderson on.

I'd be happy with us signing Miller . He knows where the back of the net is .
He hasn't scored many for Peterborough but that doesn't make him a bad player . He hasn't been given a fair crack of the whip there . Quite a few sub appearances . Maybe the step up is too big , the court case hanging over his head . Teams don't sign players based just on their stats . They send scouts out . A lot of teams were after him
. If his head is right then he would be a good signing .
We could go for someone with more league experience with a great scoring record but who are going to release a player like that .?
Fans will moan whoever we get .

I think he was suspended for biting, so they can't give him a chance if he's not available. Luton also took a gamble with him then let him go to Dover. So that's two clubs who have given him a chance of league football, then decided to off load him. I think we should learn from them.

Obviously the lad needs to make money from now til end of season.
He also needs to behave until court case, so let's gamble on him.
I still think we will be ok striker wise with Rose Hemmings.
Midfield general or a sweeper type of player maybe.
I don't have a clue to be honest just hope we carry on being 3 points
off automatic promotion til the last 3 games.

Two sentences Stevie said has been put together

Radford having dinner with a championship chief executive

Also

Evans chasing another player n the Radford know the club well so it could be Donny Rovers... But who is the player Stevie wants... who's the lad in Midfield who chose them over us last season his this the guy ?

Because Spencer is bang average and not in any way an effective target man, from what I've seen so far. Like Angol he seems scared to jump and compete in the air.

Anderson was full of energy and movement when brought on the last 2 home games and had a positive impact on both games, setting up the winner in one of them.
