Chickenfeed scorefred sponsored by footy on a Wed (7pm ko)

Postby Spiritater » Mon Dec 04, 2017 2:16 pm

When was the last time we played on a Weds night just out of interest?

Anyway can we upset the apple cart at the seaside with our team which'll have no doubt plenty of changes?

Away at Lge 1 opposition, but with an 11 game unbeaten run under our belts we've nothing to lose and everything to gain. Yes it's gonna be tough, but I believe we can win this one.

I guess it depends on how seriously they are going to take it as well. From our perspective it’ll give the likes of Pearce, Butcher, Sterling-James and Potter the chance to get themselves back into first team consideration as Diamond did versus Everton youth B team.
I would like to win just for the 10k prize money, as I’ve said before that’s the only thing making it more appealing that a behind close doors friendly with a local team. 1-0 Stags.

you have to go back to Sheff Utd in the League Cup three years ago for the last Wed game.

As for the 7pm ko, I can't ever recall one of those.

The prize money is £20k for winning in round 2.

£20K for round 2, £40K for round 3, 50K round 4. That's not really chickenfeed!

Looks like price for selling your soul to the Premier League is a bit more than 30 pieces of silver these days.

Must be due to Brexit.

I’m pretty sure I heard that there will be full match commentary on Talksport 2 of this game.

yes there is. Bizarre to have our first national radio station commentary for a while and it to be of such a low profile game.

not necessarily. He will be working out the cost of buying two digital radios (one for his mum) in the cost of listening ;)

Hey at least Talksport 2 are bothered about it which is more than that waste of good studio premises is on Woodhouse Rd.

And as I'll be working I'll not be able to listen which is a shame.

All you Lemmings'll soon be forking out a lot more than £45 for a season in time. The price will alway go up. How long will it be before you're paying £100? 6-7 years?

What's up with Mirfin? Is he injured?

If so it'll likely be Pearce and Digby at centre half, and everyone else who hasn't started against Guiseley to fill in all the other places.

Should still be more than a strong enough side to win, especially if Blackpool are making wholesale changes as well.

Mirfin's fit as far as I know. I'm expecting him to play tomorrow

Last time we had tomorrow’s ref, our mate Seb, was when he sent Stevie boy to the stands at Grimsby last season.
We might win against Accrington next time.

I was sure he was fit too. It's just that I don't think I've heard him mentioned in any of Evans' recent interviews on iFollow which is why I made the assumption that he might not be fully fit.
I suppose Evans tends to forget just how many good players we have when we have so many not even making the bench at times.
