Well done today lad, you played excellently today apart from the goals. Unfortunately many don't recognise the ability you have to actually control the ball and bring others into play, exactly like last week when we got the equaliser.

Keep proving the 'experts' wrong.

His all round play is always good, he’s been a bit unfortunate in front of goal, but deservedly had his reward today.

When was the last time someone scored a hat trick for us? I’m scratching my head a bit.

Very good performance from him today, hopefully that boosts his confidence. He could've had 6.

You can only play what's in front of you but Guiseley were a shambles. Looked like a pub team.

Would Jimmy benefit from a run in the side, in a settled and stable side where he could get to know them better.

I think he would and so would the rest of the side but I can’t see it happening.

I assume he’ll get another game at blackpool on wednesday and then we’ll have to go from there. He’s all we’ve got up front with hemmings and angol injured

Don’t care about the standard of opposition, Jimmy was superb today. His touch, link play and weight of pass were excellent.

This should be the boost the lad needs to go on and be a big player for us for the rest of the season.

Well done, Jim.

Great to see.

I think for many,( albeit against shocking opposition) that many will have seen for the first time what Jimmy can do in a Mansfield shirt.

Well played sir, hopefully a welcome return to form. He also had a good 15 minutes against that lot last week.

I only got to see the second half and Spencer barely put a foot wrong, he was excellent.

Hopefully it'll provide him with a much needed boost. Well played Jimmy lad.

I thought he did OK and of course you can't argue with his hat-trick. But he was a bit slow to anticipate at times and wasted opportunities that you could see coming from miles away.

Said to Yorkie pre kick off Jimmy'd score and he laughed. Jimmy fluffed his first couple and Yorkie gave me that knowing smile.
In went the first,
'He'll score a hat trick today', sez I.

:hysteria:  :hysteria:  was his reaction.

I looked at him as Jimmy was stepping to take the peno,

'He'll miss it' ! sez Yorkie.

But you could tell he wouldn't, and even though Jimmy said himself he actually 'scuffed' the peno it was always gonna go in, it was his day.

His all round play was excellent in laying off and holding up.
What we want now Jim is more of the same on Sat at Creepy in the League.

A few more performances like Sunday and even Yorkie might begin to warm to him. ;)
