Cox dreaming of FA Cup return (Sun 3 Dec, 2pm)

Postby Chadman » Mon Nov 13, 2017 5:47 pm

Just had a lovely and lengthy chat with Paul Cox about the FA Cup, Guiseley, his time at Mansfield, his reunion with Adam Murray etc.

It will all be on our web site as and when in the week but in the meantime here are his thoughts on tomorrow night and a possible return to the One Call . . .

It would be a remarkable situation - the present and the previous two managers contending in one match.

Martin will know if this has happened anytime, anywhere before.

I doubt Accy'll make any more mistakes against Guiseley.

Accy are one of those strange teams that can be equally as rubbish as brilliant(usually against us) so I wouldn’t be so sure.

Got to be clear favs though, Guiseley are not even a good conference side.

ifollow is a FANTASTIC service.... for those that are able to afford it. Me, I'm not gonna fork out the better part of £100 to set mesen up to be able to listen.
My poor old housebound, partially sighted 89 year old mother can't listen now to commo on a radio because of that shower on Woodhouse Rd. She now listens to Clownty on t'Beeb.

I really wish I owned some local business that advertized a lot Delahunty's plaything. I'd have made sure I did my advertizing elsewhere and hit these jokers in the pocket big time.
Tinpot station, which I've avoided like the plague for 18 months or so.

my 85 year old dad listens to every match on a £45 mobile phone. But yes if you add the cost of £45 for a year (or £4.49 per month) for subscription on top of that, it would cost about that much to set it up from scratch.

Accrington goal disallowed. Sounds a really good game on commentary.

Will be very very shocked if Guiseley go through now, shame as it would have been good to see Cox back and obviously an easier tie on paper
