The Rose yellow card looked a definite dive to me in real time.

This is the one phrase in modern football that really boils my pee. Pundits use it all the time to excuse diving & cheating. Contact should not = a foul.

There was less contact than when he stayed on his feet and hit the post. He got what he deserved.

Couldn’t agree more.

when he hit the post, he slipped. There was no contact whatsoever.

In the second half, Rose knocked the ball past the defender, the defender stuck out a leg, didn't get anywhere near the ball, and Rose went over it, with clear contact. Foul anywhere on the pitch. Poor defending.

Now seem a replay. Looks more like one from the video, but I think Rose left his leg in. Also what goes against him is he doesn't go down until he realises the ball is away from him.

I doubt anyone else cares about your bitterness Big yella. But in case they do, here's what it was about:
Three times you insinuated that Paul Taylor and I were massaging the figures in our statistics concerning the club's history. Keep believing it if you want. Paul Taylor and I have more integrity than to do that.

And then you've continued to refer to it multiple times since then.

Danny has to learn how to dive better when contact is made.
He does seem to over react and that goes against him.
It's your leg that's been touched not your whole body.
another point would be to get throw ins taken to his chest not his head.

Oh calm down precious. I have pointed out twice your primness in thinking that you have a divine right to decide the club's history. Your opinion is just that your opinion and nothing else, I don't care who you are, sorry, that should be who you think you are. You never have been, aren't and never will be the sole arbitrator of our history. Not even with your mate agreeing with you.

Get over it , you ain't that special.

Nice to see Hemmings got 7.5 and appeared to run round aimlessly a little more than normal - and seemed unfortunate about the penalty.

I note that, yet again, he didn't score.

Is he planning on doing this anytime soon, or are we getting someone in that can?

he should’ve had a penalty, headed a ball off the line and was a couple inches wide from scoring. i think he had a good game imo and certainly looks like he’s trying. i guess someone’s got to find something to moan about though

I see you haven’t picked up on how poor white was, and could’ve been sent off

I picked up that in the match thread.

The effort he cleared off the line was a saver for sure, and he, in general appeared to have a good game.

It would just be good if he could just score a few goals too. We have got to start being more clinical upfront and can't keep relying on Danny

I have been as big a critic as Hemmings as anyone, but he deserved a 7.5 at Cov. Even on their forum they were praising him.

Got to agree with the others on here that Danny Rose is a diver. It's embarrassing and don't think the likes of Clough or Ian Greaves would have put up with it. Contact being made is no excuse for such theatrics. Can't argue with his scoring record at the moment though, I didn't think he was a natural goalscorer but he's certainly proved me wrong.
As for Hemmings, I thought he a had a really good game. But a striker is mainly there to score goals, and, he just ain't scoring. But I'd be happy to keep with the faith with him and hope he'll click.
Having seen the improvement in the Exeter and Coventry games I'd be very surprised if we aren't comfortably top 7 for Christmas.
