Ladder man of Lord Street

Postby thefamilyvontrapp » Tue Nov 07, 2017 10:56 am

When I was a young whipper snapper following the Stags I always remember the man up a ladder on the end terraced house on Lord Street...
Does/did anybody know him? Does he still watch the Stags? If so,How does he get to see the matches now??

No exciting news on a cold Tuesday morning!!!

What about the guy who sat in the tree? I think it was during an FA cup run.

I stood there a few times when boycotting due to Keith Haslam including against Middlesbrough in the FA cup... got on telly!

If it was he'd obviously found better times and could afford to dispense with the ladder.

Either that, or a burglar or Santa turning up waaaay-too early! ;)
Perfection took almost a week before I mastered it

How many folk were responsible for the ‘ball barrage’ midway through the Middlesbrough game???

I remember the guy on the ladder. He must be in his 70s or 80s now. Perhaps he's had a Stenna Stairlift fitted outside the house. Mind you the fantastic new scoreboard would block his view nowadays.

Couldn't possibly comment... all I can reveal is, I was stood next to two other Stagsnet posters that day who also mysteriously disappeared at half time
