Both goals were fantastic, but his second was absolutely fantastic.

He has to get a hat trick soon!

After watching the highlights it would only be right to mention the Shaw Lane keeper, Stewart. Or a ‘S**t Tim Howard’ as he was known. Pulled off some great saves, notably the penalty and was a good sport (especially when reminded that he had his head on upside down).

Seemed like a top bloke and took the banter in his stride, even encouraging it at one point. Some very good saves including the penalty.

Also applauded our fans at the end. What FA Cup games should be about great day out had by all :)

I'm sure he's the same keeper who let in 6 against us for Alfreton Town.

Incredible finish. His header was top notch too.

When are we going to get him tied down for another few years?

Dan is our 20+ a season striker. I doubt the other 'strikers' will manage 20 between them.

Both goals came from crosses from the by-line. We seem to send too many diagonal crosses in which are easier for the defence to get away. Not a moan, my half full rose tinted glass friends, merely an observation.

Did you even watch any other goals? I'd say crawleys goal against Wigan was far better. And wigans second... lot of good goals.

Danny is a our key player this season though.

Rotherham goal was pretty special too, plus there's games today. Saying that Rose is only player with quality AND confidence to try that in our squad at the minute

Is there a 'goal of the round' ?
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I had to smile when the Moran Stags “fans” near me were berating the Yorkshire Bas-tards. Danny Rose comes from a couple of hundred years away from the ground!

Just a few muffled chants of, 'where were you in 84' also. Can't remember a 's cab' chant though.

There were about 5 of their fans to our right calling us scabs. A few young lads started singing back 'Arthur Scargill what a ******'

They got shot down by some Stags fans who told them Maggie Thatcher was the ******

Can't we just leave all this in the past? There's fans from both sides of the picket line.

Both Danny's goals were very good, but especially for me was his second.

Now I'm not being a smart bottom ( ;) ) but Danny has been trying the overhead/scissors execution on a number of previous occasions where it hasn't resulted in a goal. On the contrary when he's tried it then its left me a bit with eyes closed expecting him to be booked or get injured.......

Does look sweeter when repeated.....also impressed with his movement to hang back and make space for himself.....

BT Sports said ‘four streets away’, but how long the streets are, is anyone’s guess.
