Kept up to date with their progress since Murray took over and Chapman was one of their worst players. Really cocked his career up, at one time he was running the show at newport as they nearly got promoted. Sometimes he was decent and you would of thought he would of been a star player in that division.

Murray isn't the man for any club it seems. With Chapman, Thomas, Hemmigns and Mcguire he should of been able to build a semi decent squad, but Boston have been worse than a pub side.

And incredibly, he was backed until the very end by some on here ,when it was clear he had completely lost the plot. The post match Portsmouth interview was incredible to listen to.
His machinations and schemes caught up with him in the end, for me not quite the revered legend he was made out to be.
Obviously don't wish him any ill will at all, but where he would be employed at now in this sport is beyond me. Like Holdsworth, they can become unemployable.

I'll never forget that post match interview at Portsmouth when he said we were 'controlling the game' up untill the sending off....

We were losing 1-0 when the first player (Iacovitti i think) was sent off

Definitely not one of our worst players. But what a waste of talent and still relatively young.

My mate plays for Boston and he thinks Murray is a very good coach, but sometimes too good in the respect he fills your head with too many tactics instead of letting you get on with the basics. He doesn’t however think he’s suited to management.

He would probably have been better advised to work as a coach first under a good manager, keith Curle certainly learnt a lot as a No.2 and Murray could do the same.

It will never happen mate Murray didn't listen to no one except himself n we all know how that ended

Same character as Cox

Another manager who lost the dressing room had better players Sat in the stand or out on loan than the ones pulling on the shirt on a Saturday afternoon

Both now probally Sat at home thinking where did it go wrong only if I had listened to people trying to give me sound advice.....
