Murray on the footballing side will always be a legend for MTFC, however he is arrogant and not a nice bloke in person.

I've met him on numerous occasions and think the exact opposite.

You always conveniently forget about his exile by Paul Cox.

He allegedly did some stuff.

As a person who has tried but been found to come up short managerially speaking I do feel for AM.

Hope he bounces back somewhere under a bit more experienced manager (though that's not always a ticket to success!)

Wish him the best.

Be fine so long as he doesn't try to undermine the experienced manager like he's done in the past.

If you’re going to imply that Murray did stuff at least put it on hear and not bottle putting it up

This is unacceptable character assassination. Unless you’ve proof keep your accusations to yourself.

Why do you think Murray was sent out on loan by Cox that season to Rainworth and Worksop? If you think it was for fitness reasons you're deluded

Murray was causing unrest in the changing rooms and trying to get the players to turn against Cox.

Eventually the truth will come out about Murray, I have many more things I could tell you about him, I am more than happy to share with unless my comments are taken down.

Going back to my previous statement, Murray was a good footballer, however he has a very dark side to him which people are unaware of.

Well at least he hasn't been out of work too long. I hope Guiseley beat Accy.

So he's going to learn his trade from the man who he slated but couldn't do any better than... quite funny.

I work with someone who used to do a bit of reporting when we won the conference and were back in the league and found out some interesting things about Murray...

Good luck Adam. Coxy clearly still holds a massive grudge against your 'dark side'.

Would love to see both Stags stalwarts do a job there, and return to the Mill in the Cup.

Very interesting that Murray has gone to work with Coxy. I went to the evening with Murray, and a fan asked a question about coxy to him, can’t quite remember what it was, something along the lines of would he talk to him or ask him for advise. His response was very cocky “errh no”. Must have buried the hatchet or he’s realised he’s not as good as he thinks he is.

Good luck to him, best thing for him to do is learn from Coxy and other managers along the way to gain experience.

Maybe Murray saw how the fans reacted to Cox's tactics so said "err... no" to appease. If he had say "yeah, definitely" we'd have been more concerned

Say what you will about Cox. The results were good. 3rd in his 1st season and 1st in his 2nd season. I've just seen as well that Cox's win % record over his career is 42.3% (Evans' is 43.1%)

Also for Mansfield Town Cox had a 44.3% and Evans has 42.6%. But the majority of Cox was at conference level. I can't be bothered to work out the league % although I would suspect Cox would be well behind Evans on that?

No Murray magic then yesterday as Guiseley lost 0-1 to Bromley.

They're not happy about it either as they were promised an experienced manager and he's never managed at that level!
