Who's he looking at?

Has he got a job atm?
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Im sure there is a few players in the team playing today which Coxy would like to bring in on loan for Guiseley.

Playing 3-4-1-2
Back 3 of Digby Bennett Wilder
Midfield 4 of Benning Mellis Healy Omari
CJ behind Angol and Spencer

1st goal nice ball through from omari to Spencer on corner of 6 yard box , Spencer lifts ball over the keeper into the path of Angol who bundles it over from 3 yards.

2nd goal was a penalty confidently put away by Angol after a strong surge into the bkx by Omari reulting in him being brought down.

Very young Grimsby side to be fair.

Nobody really standing out in my opinion.

Bennet very solid in middle of back 3.
Omari lively , Benning a constant outlet.
Mellis keeping things ticking over in centre and Angol causing problems up top.

Nobody really pushing for a start saturday except for maybe Bennett.
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

A tame performance, nobody shone out. The only difference was Spencer's hold up and link play but can't see him scoring the goals needed. Angol scored two but missed a few mote easy chances. Not much here to improve the seniors.

Angol missed the best chance of the game for his hat trick, 6 yards out after a Spencer back-heel set him up, he scuffed it right to the keeper.

Man of the match for me was young Henri Wilder at left back. If I was Coxy I'd be snapping him up, he was very composed, won his tackles & headers and usually found a man with his passes.

Agree about Spencer's hold up play, he should've scored in the 1st half too.
