Id be surprised its only Raynor taking an interest from what ive seen when looking over the the bench. Evans has been sat down crossed armed.

Why oh why isn't Mellis starting games like this. Very soft goals to give away.

Need a big performance second half to stand any chance, but do think Colchester are capable of conceding 3 goals. Its just IF we can score or even shoot for that matter. Based on first half the answer is no....

We've scored 15 of our 18 goals this season in the second half.

This performance is just not acceptable. There is not any bite, passion, aggression, attacking flair or even a desire to cause Colchester problems.

A second half, the same as the first, will not only get Norman typing but will cause many to ask questions about 'Mr 9 promotions'.

Strange half. I thought the Stags were the better team and got into better positions. Col U took their chances. We didn't.

It's not acceptable with the money spent and squad assembled, two away games in a row not showing up

When we win its acceptable, but when we lose you lot cant handle it and think its a disgrace. Doesnt sound like we've played anywhere near as bad as the cheltenham game, we just havent taken our chances again.

But I guess thats evans fault for not putting them in the back of the net.

Here's my input anyway, what does Butcher bring to the team? Ive seen nothing of him so far

If this is the best he can do ,with arguably the best striker we,ve had in a few years , let him go to gillingham then get colin calderwood in because the players are good enough ,the team is arguably one of our best ,i think ,it needs a good clear the air session ampngst the squad where questions are asked and answered eg why cant you catch a raspberry ball ya fat raspberry

I think the answer season ends might be the quality of the 2 strikers LOOOOun have today who have both scored.

Make no mistake, Colchester are a good side and will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.....along with most other teams we've played.

We need to ditch 442 away from home, we just don't get to grips with games

It’s so obvious we are not on the same level as Exeter & Luton, so are we good enough for 3rd place? Will our horrendous away performances cost us?

Said it before and got shot down...we shouldn't play 2 up top especially away...with our midfield quality and the fact our strikers basically play on their own anyway....we'd be much harder to beat away

It must be hotel food that's causing the problem!

Im forever let down. 1 step forward 1 step backwards.

All the time. This is very bad.

Goals change games and the firsts goal is so important and this is now the 6th game on the trot where we have failed to score in the first half, that just isn't good enough.

Colin Calderwood  such a great record.

I dare say if the critics come out then will be shot down by the blind optimists, but surely some of you must see that this kind of result/performance will not get us to the promised land we all want.
Take a look at the Accrington score line for that.
True Jekyll and Hyde stuff, but hey he's promised a roller coaster .......
