Interesting that their Director of Football has just left, I'd imagine that having one of those was a barrier to attracting many experienced managers.

The fact that the Director of Football has left, could be an indication that SE is taking over. That may have been the stumbling block, because I don't think SE is the type of manager who could work with a Director of Football. It is a indication that their new manager will be an experienced one.
