Mansfield Musings Blog - Match Preview Cambridge (H)

Postby MTFCMusings » Thu Sep 21, 2017 1:53 pm

Afternoon all,

I have decided to get the blog back up and running.

Will no longer be doing full match reports but will still produce player ratings on the day after a game. Also be focusing on a providing a match preview analysing the opposition, as well as possibly a few other ideas in the pipeline. The link below is a match preview for the Cambridge game

https://mansfield-musings.blogspot.co.u ... nited.html

Any feedback welcome as always, and ideas for future content are also welcome.

Cheers
Sam

Thanks for that, but I too am less sure of a win.
Even more so when checking recent Stags home games against Cambridge . . .

Oct 2014 L2 0-0
Dec 2014 FAC 0-1
May 2016 L2 0-0
Sep 2016 L2 0-0

Four most recent encounters, just a single goal.
Binarily speaking, 10's company, 11's a crowd

good work Sam, and a good read.

Done my own prep for the game just now. Shaun Derry says in his video interview today that Harrison Dunk will be available for selection (he probably said this after you wrote the article). So I'd expect an unchanged back four: Halliday (rb), Legge and Greg Taylor (centre halves), Dunk (lb).

It's gonna be a tricky one to win, but I sense we're about to find some fluidity.
