Apparently we have had this ref 5 times ,all away and we have won all five.
He was very good yesterday to be honest.

He was, there were some fiesty but fair tackles (proper full blooded mens tackles) that he waved play on to. Drysdale and Deadman would've filled their notebooks.

He was very good. Didn't miss much and changed a decision or two after the linesman saw it differently.

On the wimps board he got 3s and 4s, didn't give that lightweight Rhead fella enough protection apparently

A proper "It's a man's game" type of ref. Thought Rheiddy was lucky in the first half when he led with his arm. Not even a talking too. Lino overruled the ref for a couple of throwins so a good team effort for the men in black.

As good a ref as I've seen for a while at this level. Let things go for both sides and wasn't one to go for an easy yellow. Imps can grumble but he was equally the same for both sides and didn't miss anything major all afternoon.

I thought he let them get away with too much, especially a few heavy tackles first half and the pull back when we were attacking in a good position early in the second half. Other than being too lenient with their fouls thought he was OK.
