Apparently just walked off the pitch today and subbed himself. Just had a message from a Barrow supporting mate asking if I know why?

Anybody?
Hope it's not racism?

from what i read, he used to have mini panic attacks when he would play/score and i think that contributed to him not playing loads. no idea how true that is/was though

Somethings gone off. Apparently just walked straight down the tunnel, grabbed his stuff and drove off. Didn't say a word to anybody.

Based on that description it sounds like a severe case of mardyness.

A reporter said he was still at the ground getting treatment after the game he went off with a hamstring injury something he's apparently had a problem with the past couple of weeks.

Yes. It did seem a bizarre question!

Not really... how often do players just walk off and sub themselves - very rarely. When it has happened before its been racism related. He's black so it's pretty clear why he thought that.

I think I prefer the suggestion that it was the act of a mard-arse!

He's a practicing Muslim, and a perfectly proper one too. I asked because of the recent news and how there are many a neanderthal up and down the country who generalise that religion and not the radical minority who use that religion as an excuse for their craziness.

It is fresh in the minds of these EDL type nutters given what happened in London.

Really ? EDL nutters from Torquay or Barrow ? My guess is that he was carrying an injury but didn't want to come off.

Not the case. Fans were baying for his blood apparently because he just stormed off. Don't think they even got the boards out for the substitution.

I stated that I hoped it wasn't the case plain and simply. Every case of any player storming off in the last few years without any communication as to why has been because of that very reason....thankfully not in this country though! Hence why my post said I HOPE this is not the case.
