Parking at tomorrows game.

Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere.
The Lincoln annual autumn fair is in town at the moment, and as usual placed on the south common. So would like to make travelling fans aware that this area (the common ground straight across the road from the ground) will not be available for parking. I know lots of stags fans usually park on this land and didnt want anyone to be late for kick off looking for alternative parking.
With about 10000 supporters expected parking places around town are going to be at a bit of a premium so advise leaving earlier than usual from Mansfield.

Parking in Lincoln is a nightmare at the best of times. I used to use Tentercroft Street behind the train station but they then built the bus station on it.

Yes, but previously crowds where less than half the size expected tomorrow. A few weeks ago when they played Luton at home, parking around the area was difficult, and the common was available then.

Looks like being an early than expected trip then just to get a parking space. Hopefully worth it

From their twitter page this morning, but will make for a great atmosphere if sold out. Just need to make sure we're all in full voice!

Looks like it will be best to park in North Hykeham and hop on a bus into the city.
We might win against Accrington next time.

Advise to avoid the NCP car parks towards the city centre then?

Yes, apparently 15,000 student freshers and their parent's cars hitting town at start of freshers week as well.

City centre will be heaving.

I might get a bit of exercise and fresh air. Park at The Pyewipe Inn on the A57 (or even Burton Waters). Have a coffee and then a nice stroll along the canal to the Marina. If we manage to win then I might even stop off at the Springhead Brewey in Laneham on the way back for a pint of Roaring Meg.

Just checked the weather. I might need my waterproof coat and boots for the walk along the canal.
