Looks like Steve Evans will be getting a warm welcome . . .

Jesus Christ they've got a very high opinion of themselves.

Evans with an inferiority complex over Lincoln City? Do me a favour. The last time we played them at Sincil Bank they had only 520 more fans than us in attendance. They have amassed a good following from the crest of their previous wave, but it's about time that wave came crashing round around their ankles.

Who is this prat? Crushed us in the Checkatrade Trophy? Our reserves where they won by two goals, one in the last minute with no keeper in goal.

Let them have their 'big club' couple of years. Natural order regarding attendances and losing games will eventually resume, like it does for all small town perennial struggling clubs. ch*****field are currently on their return after a few years of exceeding expectations.

Will be nice to actually hear and see them for a change on Saturday.

It all helps to build up a cracking atmosphere on Saturday in front of a massive 9,000 crowd. You've got to take your hat off to the Cowleys. They have done a fantastic job to revive Lincoln who were dead in the water having finished no higher than 13th in their previous four or five seasons in the Conference. Hopefully it will be an exciting game like the 3-3 draw in the FA Cup but I'll take a boring 1-0 win to the Stags.

Just been looking through old Stagsnet reports, Lincoln brought 300 on a Tuesday and 600 on a Saturday in the conference days.

Also an attendance of 3,000 at Sincil Bank in which we took 1,200.

The bandwagon fans will soon fall away I'm sure.
