Imagine this happening at t'Mill. The SAG would be creaming their pants at the prospect of a capacity reduction.

If they turned up at 3.00 they could have sat anywhere.

The comments just reaffirm what I thought of the day, we turned up and did a job on them. Evan's starting lineup was quite clearly based on counter attacking. It wasn't pretty but playing against a team like Lincoln employing Cox style tactics it isn't going to be anything else, once we'd learnt how to stand up to them they didn't look like scoring and it was then a question of whether we could take what chances we had.

It will be interesting to see how they do against Clownty next week.

Although Clownty have made a much better start than I expected, they still haven't met many decent teams in my opinion. I think Lincoln will be a good test for them and could be an indication of the quality they have. The imps will want to get back on track and the match will be between two teams who are difficult to beat. I can see it being 0-0 or a tight away win.

Here's a good video from The Daily Futshow of Logan charging out the area, Danny Rose's goal and a Conrad Logan save taken from the Co-op Stand at Sincil Bank.

........and then this video came up next of the "Mansfield Hooligans In Illegal Flare Incident". I'm sure I can see Part Time Pete and Roy in the middle of them

Apparently The Daily Futshow footage is a rip off of the Sky Sports highlights which are here:

Christ, you'd think we have the worst supporters in the world, the spotlight always seems on when anything happens.

And it's a smoke bomb, not a flare, there are no flames involved! How many times...

Anyway, I wonder how the investigation into the chaos surrounding the Arsenal game the other night is going...

Thought you were gonna lamp that bloke that wanted his seat Dave lol

1,457 fans Sat where they wanted to , we just happened to have 2 seats which the ticket holder insisted in sitting in .

Works both ways Dave me and Kay had the same issue, we got moved from the seats we were sat in and decided to find the ones on our tickets only to be met with grief from the guy already sat in them. Eventually after behaving like a 3 year old he moved!!

Good post , When we were walking back to our car we passed several groups of Lincoln lads looking for trouble on Cross Street .if they had not put Usain Bolt to shame when confronted it would have kicked off and be all over tinternet blaming Stags lads . Not condoning either set of fans ,Lincolns two hats found Mansfields two hats but it does seem strange that the only reference I can find is Lincolnshire police saying imps fans goaded stags fans .

 It's kind of what we were saying about Evans before he became our manager and what some of us, me included, are still saying. The man has lots of class off the pitch, but come game time he turns into an embarrassment. The rest of this match report are the ramblings of a bitter, twisted loser.

Interestingly he fails to mention the Lincoln fans throwing bottles at the Stags coach. Of course they are all angels with the sanctimonious Cowley brothers. I watched them on the sidelines on Saturday and they were getting increasingly wound up, they are hardly the Demi gods the Lincoln fans think they are.

It's an obviously partisan article with all the bias you'd expect and most of what was proffered should be ignored.

However, I share (to a point) some of the views about Evans. He needs to grow up.

  bitter and twisted buffoon.
Evans was quite reserved at the end compared to the PE Teachers when they beat us in the chickenfeed trophy, now that was celebrating like a world cup win. He failed to mention that though!!

I thought this, like it's never been this feisty when we've played them in the past. Probably because we have evans now but still they can't stop whining about him. They are pathetic. Can't wait for the cowleys to leave to a league one team and lincoln slide back to where they belong

It wasn't one of the Cowleys it was Jamie McCombe who pushed Raynor
