I'd snap your hand off for a point now. They seem to be gaining some momentum whereas we are finding it a struggle to get any.
Big crowd, big atmoshpere and it'll take a big performance from the boys to come home with something. It's gonna be tough.

Unfortunately I will miss this fixture due to being away on my annual pilgrimage to the Caves of Sarawak. I will not know the result until Monday afternoon when we come to the surface and break fast, however I envisage a one goal victory

I'm looking forward to this Clash of the East Midlands Titans. City, still glorying from their spectacular promotion and FA Cup celebrity and ably abetted by a clique of ex Stags players, versus the mighty, if yet to fully awaken, Mansfield Town.

Bound to be a full house, with MTFC easily selling out their allocation and, weather permitting, this will be a spectacular "turning point" moment for SE and his ensemble.

With little to separate both teams "going for it", we can expect a tight, and often tense, match where endeavour and entertainment will be showcased in equal measure.

Imps 2 - 9 Stags

See you there.

Imps fans expecting a crowd well over 9k, so will make for a great atmosphere with 1,409 stags in full voice!

I hope they give Angol some abuse and get him pumped up (not that he should need it being an ex.club). But he does seem to play better when the pressure is on and getting stick from the opposition, Grimsby being an example.

Heart says 2-1, head says a score draw.

I just hope he keeps his cool as he should have been sent off at Carlisle

I think thats about as attacking as we can get. If we play that then we win.

Mansfield to nick it. 2.1

Though we're far from a stage where anyone should be worried, ultimately we've won 2 in 9 games.

It's time to start winning and stop making excuses

It's going to be tough. Would take a point the way we are playing at the moment.

no he shouldn't. I provided the video evidence to back that up too.

Unless we significantly improve from Tuesday, we will lose this. Imps have the momentum, fired up Stags old boys who will be desperate to score and a hostile full-capacity crowd. Their manager/s aren't mugs either.

Improve on the last game, yeah. If we play like we did against Grimsby or Luton, we have every chance of winning this. So far, we've put in performances in the big games.

1 nil defeat Rhead flick on for the Imps to score.
Stagsnet to go into meltdown and the roller coaster will hit the water splash at its lowest point and the knives for SE out will creep out by early evening.
Agree, Lincoln gaining momentum and have done a few loops and laps of the rollercoaster but we are still oiling the chain on the drive mechanism.

I'm with 9dder2 on this.

9 - 2 to us, on a bog of a pitch and the gimps leaving in droves after 65 minutes.

Yes, I am in holiday mode. That bloomin' iFollow had better perform!

Some interesting quotes '"We kept nine or ten from the previous group, the rest had to go because we didn't think they could take us where we needed to go, or they didn't live right. We want players to live right to be successful and I've said many times now, we've got a fantastic dressing room."'

Who didn't 'live right'? Could he be referring to Green? Seems strange to mention it otherwise.

We would all agree with that Steve100 % that the dressing room is the best we had since heady days gone by but results and continuous performances , regular team etc not showing that currently to back up the best dressing room claim.

I'm going to go for a 2-2 draw, proper Derby game with plenty of ex stags on the pitch.
