Fancy us to win tonight.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Tight game tonight, the win is more important than the performance, Wycombe will be there or there abouts come season's end so three points now is essential.
We have to start to beat the good sides.

Slightly worried that Ando and Atko will be back in for tonight's game, think there is more potential to play well without at least one of them in the side.

Why's that? I'd say they've both had good starts to the season, Ando in particular.

Was quite surprised anderson didn't play against grimsby, he's looked like one of our best players. Running himself into the ground for 90 minutes, i like the lad.

Not so sure on atkinson yet, hasn't been amazing but has shown promising glimpses

Atkinson been poor so far IMO, Anderson been average, I haven't seen what many have seen in him. Also if they both come in, it means at least one of Byrom, Mellis or Macca will be left out, who I rate as better players.

Would be surprised if Hemmings started, he looked knackered in the 2nd half - though he clearly compliments Angol better than Rose

hemmings and angol are starting to form a partnership , i hope they both start as hemmings could use a goal but we still have good subs to use

Butcher should be the one to drop out. Round peg in a square hole on the right. Wouldn't be upset to see Atkinson in there to add a bit of bite to midfield.

Whilst there's no doubting McDonalds ability, I not sure he suits the system the Evans is persisting with. In fact individually, all out midfielders are excellent. Im just not we have the best balance in there so far. Tonight will be a good test of how we cope without a defensive presence in midfield as Wycombe will no doubt be physical.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mellis is one to miss out rather than Butcher, stick Butcher in the AM role and Atko on the right. Butcher seems a bit more robust than Mellis. Macca is a must for me, his energy is infectious, whilstI do admit he can be frustrating at times.

I'd be very surprised if Hemmings didn't start. The partnership with Angol is just starting to show signs of clicking.

I'd say Atkinson has been average and Anderson good, but they need more time to show what we know they can do. Fans of their previous clubs have raved about both of them.

I see what you're saying about not dropping the others though. I'd have Macca, Ando, Mellis and Byrom/Butcher. Atko and Potter as backup.

Not doubting they may come good, just prefer other players at the moment.

I'm sure Ainsworth and Evans will provide plenty of hot-air themselves.

Steve Evans named an unchanged side. No surprise at all after Saturday’s thumping of Grimsby. He said if he’d dropped anyone, he would have difficulty looking them in the eye tomorrow morning when they came into his office to ask why. Asked about why Conrad Logan in goal, Evans said he’s playing because he hasn’t made mistakes basically; have there been crosses he’s not come for: yes, but no goals have come from his mistakes, said Evans. Stags striker Lee Angol made his FL debut back in 2012, for Wycombe.

Wycombe arrived unbeaten in 9 away games.
