Greeny off for Lincoln

Postby wink68 » Sat Sep 09, 2017 4:30 pm

Matt off for two yellows. Will it be 1 game ban on Tuesday. Or suspended next Saturday.

Anyone who thinks Green is in Angols class is crackers if you ask me.

I hope he does play. It'll be great to see him and i'm sure we'll give him the respect he earned from us.

He's not likely to strike fear into the hearts of our centre halves anyway

Who?

Oh yeah. The guy who couldn't be ar*ed to turn out for the Conference championship celebrations because he was too busy sorting out his big wage move and when he came back (again on probably a ridiculous wage to skill ratio) couldn't hit a barn door if his life depended on it.

Who cares what happened to him. He's in the past move on.

Exactly. He should be remembered for the goals he scored which promoted us from the Conference. It should be a cracking game.

Is there some way that our profile, instead of youth team/reserves/manager, etc, can have a statement as to whether each of us has acknowledged that Green was a legend/a good player/rubbish (for me put 'reason that we are not non-league, but was time to move on') in his aggregated time with us, so that we don't have to have this constant debate every time that he has a bowel movement

Well it is impossible to regain your league status from anywhere but the Conference may I add.

All well and good, but what about Bill Curry, Barry Thomas, Dennis Uphill.......

(You'll notice I've made no mention of SS KW & RC). There are plenty of others too recent to even consider.

Notts county hat trick player we sold ? Never heard from again.
Black winger. Can't remember his name but can se him scoring every goal for county against us.
Aisaonehitwondermuddafeker I think.
Green will do the same like Stant did and the Accrington striker did.
Billy? Few sake alcohol and memory do not go together.
Key? Asawonga ? Phil Stant I remember. Wanted to give man of the match but was not allowed because he was playing for opposition. Bury?
At least Shane badley did us proud getting sent off.
I'm on a tangent here with ex players doing good against us.
Fekin Dailey Thomas would score if playing against us.

"Who is Bob Ledger " , wash your mouth out! Stags legend. I'll have you know he was on a "fag card". Also Bobby Charlton lookalike. Rumour has it he used to come to matches on his bike. Well before AM had them at the side of the pitch. Well before his time our Bob. :)
