Very important result, pleased to see Macca back, his energy is great for the team.

Think we will need to improve on Tuesday to beat Wycombe.

I'm prepared to stay here for the good of the team if we're going to batter teams in my absence. Fancy a whip round #keepsneagingreece

First half was a typical midfield battle. No time on the ball for either team to show any quality. After the first goal, the game opened up more and we then started to show our quality. In the end we were head and shoulders above them and it could have been more.

Wycombe will be a different proposition but I still see us doing well against them.

Were you actually at the game ?

Are you stupid?

I think you're the stupid one. Your comment bears no reality to the game.

Haha yes that's right. Dembele looked decent. Mitch Rose hasn't improved.

Not too dissimilar to our lot at both Grimsby and Doncaster last season.

The police presence does seem excessive, this is not even a derby game. Very off putting for a family day out to watch your team away.

That police presence is embarrassing. I bet we didn't make a penny from yesterday with paying that lot. The chant from the west stand of 'what a waste of money' when they all appeared was very apt.

Would be interesting to see what the bill is and how honest the club are with the fans for what they pay.

If the rumour that we pay 5 times the amount county do then it's scandalous. The club should only accept payment for so many police. It's like they see us as a cash cow and tend to cause more problems than what they solve.

Im sure your family would prefer to watch that than see men fighting or worse get caught up in trouble.

Stop the press - Dan in criticising police shocker.

It was excessive there's no doubt about it. A friend of mind is one of these Copper's that police's matches around the county and yes Jamie they do see it as a chance to cash in on an easy earner.

Get out of town. There were far too many cops there.

Agree with you Musings. I thought Grimsby were poor and will be in the bottom third of the league along with Forest Green Rovers.

as I included in my report, we only paid half of the police bill for yesterday. What that bill is though, I don't know.

Jamie, why do you always feel the need to challenge a perfectly reasonable comment. The policing was excessive for a League Two game and yes it would deter people from bringing their children to a game where they are surrounded by so many police.

I wouldn't have thought the police were in force for no reason ,.They had obviously got information of possible trouble, I for one have no issue with it.

Anyone who feels that there was a relevant police force there on Saturday needs their heads testing, genuinely.

It was ridiculously excessive.
