The team will finally click and we'll be 2-0 up at half time.

Not only will the gate be closed, but we'll get to see a picture of it on twitter, with the message "this gate will be closed".

We just need a win it's that simple, and it's gonna be tough to get one.

6 points from the Grimsby and Wycombe home games would be brilliant.

A 1 1 draw with good possession and dominance but no final product and more ruthlessness required.

A competitive and hard fought game by two well-matched sides. 9-2 to the Stags. Floodlights not required.

Tough with a few more ex-stags in their side.
3-1 win after they equalise through a dodgy penalty won my Mitch Rose.
Hemming 2 and Anderson to score.

Everyone putting in a collective holding of breath everytime Grimsby put a cross in with the defence panicking and Logan just standing there.

2-1 win

Can we keep an eye on how many lower league fixtures get shifted to early kick offs due to local police forces being knee-jerk fret-monkeys?

Cos I'm not having it that Mansfield Town are the country's most notorious knuckle-draggers.
Don't get me wrong, we have some real dummies; but more than anyone else? C'mon Notts Plod.

2-1 Stags.

1st one, Port Vale vs Crewe a couple of weeks ago. Local derby. Kicked off at 3pm.

Part of it is to do with the number of events in the county and nearby, i don't know how much of it is the potential trouble cause as having the adequate resources to do so and us being at the bottom of their priorities. Just off the top of my head they have us, clownty, florist, cricket plus city centre events such as the ice arena and theatre plus being one of the stag and hen do centres for the uk. Compared to that I'd expect we rank around last for their resources and therefore they move us to be able to fit us in. A sad state but Mansfield is always second to Nottingham, I heard that's why county's match was moved to a Friday the other week which is what I'd prefer with ours!

Whilst I'm not a fan of early kickoffs and do thing we seem to be penalised more than most teams I've got to say that this one is hardly suprising considering the behaviour of a fair few of the stags fans before during snd after our game at Grimsby last year.
Enough said
I'm hoping for a 2-1 win

It's a stupid knee jerk reaction.

It also means I get less of a lie in. Fortunately I'm stopping my near Silverstone on Friday night.

Not really much to do with Nottingham as they are technically 'different' divisions. Nottingham have their own football intelligence officer(s) and we've got our own. Other events in Nottingham don't affect us as we are 15+ miles away and we've got our own officers in Mansfield. Others get drafted in from Ollerton, Worksop, Retford etc which again is nothing to do with Nottingham.

And the reason Notts County changed their game to a Friday was because they had been down to play at home the same day as Forest (twice) so they had to take it in turns to switch games. Forest played Millwall on a Friday night due to the cricket being on the following Saturday (Notts were away) also.
