I don't think Evans will like losing any game but if he wanted to win that much tonight then he would of started with 9 different players

Betting tip. Even if we are winning after 6 minutes this season, put a tenner on the other side to be winning by full time. You may be able to pay off your mortgage by the end of the season. Disappointing....

I boycotted this last season, looks like the club are boycotting it this season.

Apart from the odd decent passage of play setting fire to my tenner would have been more entertaining.

Promising opening 10 mins with the goal. After that Lincoln bossed it, we couldn't win a header all over thr pitch, their midfield took control. It was simple in the end.

The main thing is we bring back three points from Carlisle

That was horrendous, Sterling-James was out of his depth completely and Evans is not making changes when changes are needed, who cares what competition we're playing in we looked to have no strategy and no talent where it's needed after we got one goal. Support is shocking compared to when we were in the conference, remember when the atmosphere used to be booming and we all used to sing our hearts out? The passion was not there from the fans or the players tonight and I'm praying for a miracle.

As much as I hold a laissez-faire attitude to this moronic competition, I'd have like to have heard that the second string would have chucked themselves at the opportunity to start a game.

Have no fear though, Evo is the second coming - he's hinted so much at it. He's certainly making an impression on our defence.

However, stick with em.

I'd take getting knocked out all the cups at the first stage (fa cup only one worth pursuing for round 3) if it means we can focus on the league and keep players as fresh as possible.

Tin pot cup - devalued with prem under 23 teams
League cup - aint gonna win it and reserve teams for prem team until the final
Fa cup - aint gonna win it, prem teams still devalue but the fans make it the cup it is and potential for a big pay day.

These are practice matches and a chance for someone to stand up and stack a claim for the shirt on Saturday - did anyone actually do that?

For me it is the league and only the league with promotion this season the priority should we be able to achieve it.

I spent three and a half seasons asleep; and another half wishing I was asleep. The atmosphere ramped up when Big Ex prepared to launch a throw.

For me Potter and McDonald, ...hunt started well but faded, sterling and spencer were ineffective, the rest were nondescript

The noise from lincoln's fans tonight was brilliant, we used to be like that and a few seasons ago we would have been singing back, we're not anymore.

Can't really remember a booming atmosphere in the Conference years lol!! I do remember having to endure some mind numbing football from tinkerman.

It ain't working out so well for Evans at the moment, a few more games without a win and the pressure will mount. Surely this is a mere blip!!! Oh and I still think letting Green go was a mistake.

I think Evans is trying to prove that the second XI is not good enough and will be wanting JR to chuck him more money before Thursday to buy another 11 players.
We might win against Accrington next time.

Well the first 6-10mins were fine, but once Lincoln got to grips with the game I could only see one winner.
The were the better side overall.

D'you know also I'm sick to the back teeth of management at our club, giving up on Cup games and using them as games for fringe players.
