RIP Duncan Russell

Our former manager from Wembley 2011 sadly passed away after a short battle with cancer

Blimey, what a terrible shock. He inherited an awful awful football team (probably our worst in living memory) but he did his best with it, and actually got us to Wembley; and ultimately he was a decent fellow to boot. Thoughts and feelings go out to the Russell family.

It's not often nice people have success in football.

Never met Duncan but he did his very best at a difficult time.
