Luton have Collins, Hylton, Vassell, Mcqiod, cook, lee and now this promising youngster from bournemouth

Could we be making an offer for Hylton? They haven't needed him so far

People need to forget about Hylton. Do you really think Luton are going to sell their top scorer from last season to their main title rivals? Plus, Vassel is leaving.

That's why Luton are a lot better than us.

They've just rejected a big bid for another of their forwards so can't see that happening.

The new forward situation is pretty urgent though

Josh McQuiod only started one game for Luton last season and then went on loan to Stevenage.

The thought of two fall over con merchants Hylton and Roberts joining our club, leaves me cold. Please don't let it happen.

Phil Stant. My favourite player in 28 years of supporting the mighty Stags, ex-SAS, hard as nails, goal machine and could dive better than Tom Daley.

I think he is meant to be from a league above us. However, it could all be smoke and mirrors.

If Hylton and Roberts joined our club you could pencil in the promotion party. Hylton scores goals, fact - and Roberts whilst maybe not being fit enough for 90 it may seem, he'd be very good to unlock a defence with 20/30 minutes to go if we are on top.

Granted they're players that haven't been liked in the past but does it really matter? We didn't like Evans before he came. All I care about is getting promotion so I'd be happy with both. That said, there's no chance Luton will sell Hylton to us.

If that happened and those two played a large part in us going up, I would welcome the promotion, but would feel less proud in our achievement.

I can see both sides to this argument with the forward.. I'm sure angol fractured his ankle last season ? If theres a reoccurring injury do we survive from goals from rose and the odd few from sterling-james ? I can't see spencer getting us many AT ALL.. but if we can keep them fit I think not angol and rose will get us 25+ and we have quality all over the field to nip in with a few here and there.. Still I do think a striker that might add another 10-15 on top of that can get us at least 3rd.. Obviously 1st would be amazing but realistically 3rd would be a massive achievement on anything we've had in over a decade with the threats we have from luton etc.

Why less proud. Why do people get over obsessed about players who slightly con the referees? Stant did it plus loads of others we love. Get over it!!! I would take Roberts and Hylton in a heartbeat and would feel no less guilty or proud for doing so if we achieve promotion.
