Very good second half, much better than the first. Anderson was my MOM, he will be a great player for us this season. White had a great game as well, so did Pearcey, Atkinson and Sterling-James looked a handful!

wonder what folk will find to moan about this week though

Great performance second half. First half we stood off too much although weren't really tested.

Stand out performances from White and Anderson, Rose did well and his goal was a fine header.

Really not a fan of Angol yet. He looks lack luster and needs to work harder. If he had taken his chance then he can swan about all he likes but he didn't and that didn't seem to want to work hard enough.

Spencer and OSJ both looked better when they came on.

Good game, great result and were nicely up and running now. COYS

That's a much more sensible reason than a mini bus from forest green requiring safe passage.

Turns out there was a 2 motorbike escort for the buses out to the motorway, hope its not the football club that foot the bill for that complete waste of an overtime request by Nottinghamshire's finest.

Thought Rose was poor until he scored, same could be said about Anderson.

Credit due to both for keeping going, well done lads.

Easy victory in the end . Dominated the second half . We are only going to get stronger . Anderson my motm with White close behind . I thought Atkinson had a good game . We have such a strong bench .
Angol not firing on all cylinders yet but I think he will be a star for us

I thought he was fine apart from that little blunder with whites header back to him, which did come at him pretty fast and was close to him. Forest Green never troubled him

Tbh Logan played alot better today than he did at Crewe when called upon. Hopefully its just confidence with a new back four.

Anderson was class, and Diamond was also a rock (excuse the pun).

Did anyone else notice Diamond hobbling for at least the last 10 minutes?. Hopefully not a bad injury.

Crap first half, much better second. Nobody played well first half, everyone played their part second half. White probably MOTM for me.

Angol showed in the first half if you press higher up the pitch you will get joy as they were trying to play out but there CB's were terrible on the ball, but the strikers didn't do it until the second half when no doubt Evans gave them a strong word.

I sometimes wonder if i am at the same match as some who come on here. Rose and Anderson poor?
Both score, and Rose ran himself into the ground. What do people want, blood?
It was a good all round team performance, we didn't panic when coming up a little short in the first half and absolutely overwhelmed them in the second half .
By the way, Peterborough must have a really good right back if they can afford to give a player like White away. He played at a level above all the other players on the pitch today!

You can see the class players already: Anderson, Digby, Rose, All the back 4. Sterling looks a real find too and I thought Spencer looked like he can hold a ball up really well. The future looks good.

A very encouraging performance. Loads of tempo, tons of hard work, movement and imagination. I think it was a nice, easy win against a side that will probably sneak in to a top half finish.

Can't really point the finger at any poor displays but a special mention for Anderson, who was instrumental and gave every last drop for those bags of coal. I was very pleased walking out at the end, knowing that this team is clearly a much much better one than the one which ended last season; with so much quality cover - proven by all the subs, who each were excellent.

One grumble. Those that want to come, sit back and grumble when we aren't two up after ten minutes, please find another hobby; one miles away from Field Mill. I was sick to death of the moans in that first half. A guy in the toilets at 3:20 was countering "£24 for this rubbish". So naturally I answered: "don't come then pal, stay at home, this is division 4".

Our club and staff are doing everything possible to make the dream happen. The naysayers (and there's far too many of them) will do their level to make it a difficult road. They can piss off and stay away for all I care, cos I enjoyed my afternoon and I'm not keen on having it ruined by longfaced bores who want to sit back and demand ninety minutes of Premier League quality success. Not as if they contribute towards an atmosphere.

Much better second half. My MOM were Hayden White and Danny Rose again and Paul Anderson had a good second half (same as at Crewe). Krystian Pearce and Zander Diamond were solid in the centre of defence. Great to see Pearce back in the team. He still looks our best defender.

My only negative from an entertainment perspective (shared by a few other fans) was that we started the game management tactics a little too early with around 25 minutes to go. We slowed the game right down and did not commit as many men forward which then did not make it as exciting to watch. Perhaps Steve Evans was getting his own back for FGR's time wasting in the first half. I think we could probably have scored a couple more goals if we had kept the tempo up. This also resulted in us sitting back and FGR could have sneaked a goal near the end with a couple of goal mouth scrambles. However I am very happy with three bags of coal from Platform 2.
