I think one of the reasons we seemed to be encamped in their half in the second half was the strength of the wind. Even in the first half Bobby's kicks hardly reached the half way line.

Another reason why their goal seemed to arrow into the top corner assisted by the wind.
We might win against Accrington next time.

Shame the pen didn't catch the wind.

Great report Martin. Gave me a real belly laugh ..
You really need to use spell checker although i am not sure it would have helped in this case (re camps effort on 45 mins)

You would have thought auto swear word who have changed it to feeble poo.

A guy sat near me thought Bobby got a touch on that cross that hit the bar. It might be worth having a look at the video, but I think it just hit the bar as you say Martin.
We might win against Accrington next time.

Hello Martin. Thank you for the report. The referee in the Chesterfield game you referred to was Bobby Madley.

Bobby and Andy Madley are brothers and both are on the league list.
We might win against Accrington next time.

Hmm. Poor finishing, lack of quality in final third. I was hoping that Evans would have addressed this as number one priority - early days yet though, I suppose.

Am I correct in saying that Tuesday attendance was the lowest ever home league cup attendance at Field Mill.

I know the game at Meadow Lane, Nottm versus Wrexham was pretty low, but only 1457 on Tuesday must be near the worse at the Mill.
We might win against Accrington next time.

Hey, hey, hey, hold on a minute. Don't you know it's a poor area, folk are still on holiday, they can't pay on t'gate, they might get a bit wet on the way to t'ground, the pies would be cold, the cue (one for the spelling Gestapo there :D ) in the SPB'd be unbearably long.... etc etc.

And it was a very expensive £20 to get in.
