Decent performance but a win on Sat quite important as something like a draw will ruin the start of the season and we maybe could 4 points short of front runners already
I am thinking that FG will be a tough one and would have liked them at home later in the season.

Pearce should play Sat if nothing else!

I think they're going to have their first welcome beating to league football.

Their 200 fans won't do enough to cheer them on against a semi full mill

I'm going to hold fire on the Bishop St info for a couple of weeks.

I've a sneaky feeling some on here will come out with the staple phrase when we've underperfomed... ie, 'we need time to gel'.

Let's hope it's not the case and we start fighting off the raiders at Fortress Field Mill and make it a very difficult place to come.

Agree, if you were going to say during commentary then just tell us now... A new stand? a longer scoreboard? A pitch length bowling alley to rival Super Bowl titled Stag bowl? whats PB got up his sleeve

JR has bought all the houses behind and bulldozing them before building a stags social club where old blokes in flat caps can get half a mild and a bag of scratching sand still have money for bus fare home

no. Paul Broughton asked me to hold fire on it for a couple of weeks. Simple as that.

(The club may also decide they want to put the info out more formally, I don't know.)

I've heard a rumour that they think there are more marketing opportunities for the stand.
They are going to remove all of the advertising hoardings and knock down the stand.
They are then going to fit 10 X 10 metre square digital screens along the side.of the pitch.
Each of these will show a new advert every 0.25 seconds in HD.
Effectively, we could advertise 21,600 adverts per screen within a 90 minute game.
Think of the opportunities this offers the club to generate income whilst ridding us of the eye sore at the same time.

Either that or the club have decided the time is right to build the "Stone Island Stand"

I see Shaq scored a penalty for Barnet at Peterborough after a free kick hit Ryan Tafazolli's hand in the wall. His penalty was saved but the ball then spun over the line. Vadaine Oliver also scored for Morecambe
