Spencer is too good to let go, he's the sort of player who should work well with Hemmings.

Why would we let Spencer go anyway? He looks a good player to me.

Can you see him starting or coming in fact ahead of Angol Rose James or Hemmings ?
I cant.

Why not? Have you seen enough of any of this lot to start ranking them?
We've only played 4 competitive games.

I can.

When teams have worked us out and try to nullify us, spencer offers something different and not just a big man that heads it on, he looked steady on the ball and quite a good passer.

You never answered the question.
Now you can disagree with me to emphasise your point if you want but there is no way Spencer is starting ahead of any of them and you know it.

At a push he is a throw on in last ten minutes and lump it forward type sub.

Lets not forget Evans signed all these players on instinct pedigree and watching them play.
He has never seen them train close quarters daily.

A player he thought would be perfecr pre signing may turn out to be not as good as he hoped.

I reckon Spencer is one.

This is just my opinion if you dont like it i have others
;)

Okay I'll answer your question. I've only seen Spencer in our shirt once - when he came on as sub vs FGR. And I thought he looked excellent and good enough to start games.

I thought the offside goal Spencer scored from the excellent Sterling-James through ball in the FGR game was top notch, that's what they can bring to a game.

I think if any of the strikers are sold it will be Rose. However, SE likes to have an abundance of strikers so I can't see any going unless for a rediculous fee. I have seen Spencer play twice and for me he brings something different to the game. Also SE was full of praise for Spencer after the Rochdale game.

Rose is our best strike so would be silly to let him go, unless the deal was too good to turn down.

Not been his biggest fan but thought he played well last night although Potter was excellent.
I thought Jack Thomas had a very energetic and promising display aswell.

Didn't go last night myself, but reading the reports from the people that did Spencer did bugger all.

Cue the video coming out at Midday, and i see Spencer playing a great through ball for Potter's goal...

There is no point lumping it forward to Jimmy Spencer because like Billy Kee he is not particularly strong in the air. He did not win many headers against Rochdale or Lincoln. However play it to his feet or chest and he is good at holding the ball up. He just then needs players to get round him so he can lay it off.

Rose is our only good player in the air in the striker department, not sure on hemmings mind.

I was genuinely surprised by what Spencer offered last night. After Saturday, I thought that he was going to be a disappointment but he did show something last night. He worked hard, his ball for Potter was beautifully measured. However, my son sat next to me and watching the same game thinks Amari Sterling is the future
