Slew looked disinterested for me...fitness or not if I was on trial I reckon I could muster a more convincing performance.

Not sure I'd waste any more valuable PSF time on him, use it with what we have for match sharpness

He played the latter end of the 15/16 season was on a free and bought in to cover injuries as only Novak was fit at the time. Was always a sub.

He's absolute dog poo. Surely we're not signing him?

He made 40 appearances for a side that got promoted last season.

Can't judge a player on 30 minutes (unless it's Craig Alardyce) & Green's scoring record was pretty poor before he joined us.

Not saying he's any good or that SE will sign him but the judgements are soooooo stagsnet.

Has already been on trial with both Exeter & Swindon I believe in the last few weeks.

Swindon had him on trial two weeks ago and passed on him. CR and SE obviously are not getting things they're own way with the current targets so to have a look at Slew makes some sense. Not happy about taking on a Swindon reject but SE knows what he's about. In SE I trust.

I didn't go yesterday but agree that the best option would probably be crucifixion at the soonest available moment.... preferably from atop of Sherwood pit tip so Derbyshire can see what we do with infiltrators.

Maybe.

In all seriousness, the only thing I know about Slew is him scoring an excellent solo goal against us last season in the FA Cup.

I might also add that the last trialist that we ended up employing played at Rainworth two years ago: he was overweight, slow and behind everyone else in terms of fitness. That lad has spent the last two years as arguably our best player.

I'll give anyone Evans takes on a chance.

;) could also be clever ploy by S E by doing this it is showing that we are prepared to look elsewhere and its letting our intended Striker targets its make your mind up time :D
S E as said on more than 1 occasion he would not be using trialist and only had a list of confirmed targets.
could call it make or break time .

Didn't really have time to do anything last night apart from one shot over the bar. Might see him at Stamford?

I'm sure Blackburn once paid £3m+ for the lad?

I went to Stamford last night, not many stood out for positive reasons Olejnik kept the score down in the second half and Tyler Blake took his goal well. Slew had 1 good run and did well holding the ball up but he didn't look up to promotion standard despite being in Plymouth's team last year. To emphasise how I feel I'd rather have Ollie Palmer back, make of that what you will!
