Looked much better from IGU than the old wooden boards. Sham it's not the whole way round and we've still got the unprofessional metal barriers at the front of the North Stand. Hopefully this will be changed eventually too.

I always wonder how much extra revenue firms generate from advertising at football grounds, in particular the lower league grounds. There is only board that stands out to me at Stags and it's 'Carl Wright Muck Shifters'. Now if I need any muck shifting that's the fella for me but other than that I'd struggle to name you another three companies who have boards at Field Mill.

Carl Wrights haulage had 5 large trucks plus a large excavator removing soil etc from behind the far side of the 5-a-side goals at 06.30am this morning, thought I aught to report it. Another improvement from our forward thinking club COYS.

Anyone know if the north stand will have these erected so we can finally be rid of them horrible "temporary"crowd barriers ?

Yes, just waiting for SAG to say how high they need to be.
We might win against Accrington next time.

Is it fairly safe to say that the Gabbitas gate will now run through the stadium in front of the north stand then?

On the plus side doubles the space for advertising :D

Perhaps time to shift the North Stand in to the retail park car park and create a Gabbitas Chasm.

There's the advert to the right of Bishop Street with the 4 jigsaw pieces. The one that is not connected is clearly bigger than the gap it is supposed to fit in. It infuriates my OCD mind every game.
The Stags are for life, not just for cup finals. (or Liverpool).

You've probably got that ingrained in your memory from BSP days - that's where most of our shots on goal ended up :P
