Tickets for Crewe

Not long until the big kick-off, but does anyone know if its ticket only for Stags fans, or can we pay on the gate

Away end holds around 1,500 I think, teams sometimes get behind the goal as well. Can't see it being all ticket but I'd get one when given the chance just to make sure.

It's the side stand every year, just sometimes they also give the stand behind the goal.

I'd have thought the demand will be high enough to warrant 2 stands

530 tickets. We should be aiming to fill that initial allocation. We need to follow the stags with unprecedented support this season and do all we can individually to boos home attendances too to show JR and CR that their time and money is not a wasted investment.

The real draw will be for fans to watch winning football. Come on Steve Evans. Give us something to cheer about.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

No rush, we'll sell that allocation easy and then the next batch will come over.

Looking forward to it

I'd expect us to sell whatever allocation they give us.
Normally do first away game when local.

I'd agree with Dan, 1000 tops. It's a poor area you know.

4th poorest in the country according to research published int Chad last year. Maybe they're all just too apathetic to get better paying jobs.

It's only an hour and half away, optimism is at the highest I've ever known it since I've supported the Stags (17 years), maybe barring 2001/02. We took 1000 to Northampton and 1500 to Scunny on opening games recently. If we only managed 1000 I'd be surprised.

Bugs me why teams do this..send 500 then another 200, then some more, then we run out on the last day of sale and people travel ticketless to the game and buy them at the away ground.

Just send plenty to start with or let everybody get them when they get to the away ground.

Everybody knows we will sell more than 500 so why send 500?

Surely this is another one down to that buffoon with his name on a famous gate. Police 'Intelligence' must have a say/view on how many to send?

But everybody knows that we will sell the first batch out so they are going to have to print more anyway and then incur extra postage costs sending them to us.

Just send a bigger initial allocation..one thats likely to meet demand

Brought 4 this morning at least another 12 - 15 sold whilst there, so expect this initial allocation to likely sell out very quickly.
Possibly even today with the friendly on.

They will want us to sell tickets by blocks ( to save on stewarding/ turnstile operators, etc) but probably have had clubs gooseberry things up when they send bigger batches. So they send tickets out in batches.
