I have never been so certain of a player going to score past us.

Good signing for The Imps, he's still got goals in him and I'm sure their management team will utilise his talents.

I agree with you Lifestags, there's nothing as sure as him scoring against us, I just hope we have/get an adequate replacement who can score 20+ goals per season, assuming we play this person in the correct position and not publicly humiliate him.

Good luck Matt, take it easy when you play us.

Does this mean that Mez will have to increase the size of our nets?

I'm having £50 on him scoring in the game in September, definitely.

Good luck to him, hope he gets a good reception from us when he plays against us.

Someone on twitter said Ollie Palmer is a tank. A true description of his abilities certainly rhymes with tank.

I'm pretty sure Ollie Palmer slagged off (or at least throw a dig) at Green a couple of seasons ago, when we sold him and signed Greenie?

Ollie will need the goal much wider I think but good luck to Matt and agree natural move locally for him and he will score a few.

Correct he was questioning Greens scoring record in the league.

Greeny a great signing for Lincoln. Him and Ready will easily get them mid table. As for Palmer, oh dear. Absolutely shocking player. Be good when we play them. Give the two Matts the ovation they both deserve. Then give Palmer what he deserves while he sits on the bench for 90 minutes

Comment from Lincoln forum about signing Palmer:

"Top signing. The Cods were really sad to see him leave. Big lad too, definitely a good option as target man. Top three here we come."

I think the chance to link up with Rhead again probably influenced his decision if he had a choice of cluns on offer. Good luck to a legend!
