Why default to a pessimist view?

Yawnnnnnn. Good luck to him.

So why not say that in the first place ?

Surprised Jimmy Spencer is only 25. I thought he was much older.

55(33) League Appearances and 16 goals.

Wow not important, a good team is.

Many winning teams do not have wow factor players just a team understanding.

I may be wrong but didn't Adam Murray, when he was our manager, try to sign Jimmy Spencer.

unusually for soccerbase, that is completely wrong. It misses out 8 goals for Morecambe and 10 goals for Cheltenham

not as far as I can remember. Strikers he told me he tried to or wanted to sign included Danny Hylton, John Marquis, Reuben Reid.

I can remember his name popping up a few times during pre-season along with Ryan Bird.

Do you think he's a good addition Martin?

he's played against us for Notts County, Cambridge and Plymouth in the last two seasons and been ineffective on each occasion. However Derry, Adams and now Evans see something in him, so we'll see. In Evans we trust!!

I'll wait till I see him play before I pass judgment. I'm not sure anyone was impressed by the signing of Ray back in the summer of 74. Conversely many had a hard on when Daryl Clare signed. It clicks and then again sometimes it doesn't, time will tell.

Wear the Famous Amber with pride, give all you have for t'club Jimmy and when you die you'll be happy because you've played for the best club in the world.
