If he leaves I'll be so annoyed.

Hope they he tells them to F Off, like he told Qatar Rovers to.

Why would he leave a club with ambition and brillaint financial backing to go to that complete mess at Swindon ?

Not happening.

Alan Archibald still heavy favourite at 10/11 odds.

Quiet a simple one really, either JR says no you can't he's under contract.

Or SE says no thank you gentleman, move on.

Puts an end to it straight away.

JR already put an end to it last week.

Yes he put an end to it, but since then there has been an official approach. Money talks

I feel its more a fan appeaser by Swindon than genuine hope of him going.

We can make an approach for Conte doesnt mean we are serious or could get him.

Well, actually Martin, Sky Sports reporting an official approach has been made now. The story has developed.

I hoped it had gone away but its reared its ugly head again.

As if they haven't spoken to him already!

Id imagine there would have, at the very least, been an informal chat to see if he was interested.
The Stags are for life, not just for cup finals. (or Liverpool).

Yes he has signed two players, but equally he mentioned in an interview a month ago that certain players had been more or less signed already - bar the signature.

The fact of the matter is, this isnt a stupid thread. An official approach from another club has been made and its been touted on sky sports. Thats not to say he is going to leave, but it opens up discussion points, and needs to be officially put to bed.

According to the Swindon Advertiser he is good friend with the Swindon Chairman from his time at Boston

In my view it's far from a stupid thread and I wouldn't be surprised if he goes if compensation can be agreed. Will come down to whether he wants to go in the end

That's pretty much it and if that's the case don't let the door hit him where the good lord split him because no matter who it is they need to want to be here.

Glad the chairman moved quickly and unequivocally to make our position clear.

It would be nice to hear Evans say he isn't interested in the Swindon job.

These things tend to develop into a move taking place; I'm sure similar happened prior to us selling Clucas to the Direites
