Germination sheeting I believe. Sort of like when you put tomato seeds etc in a propogator in t'greenhouse.

They could have put in a couple of rows of potatoes while they were at it!

Tut tut, week 5 !!!!! I threw some Wilkos value seed on mine, with all the sun and rain it grew in 3 days. I blame Adam Murray :D

Looks a bit stripey, is this a clue to the design of the new home shirt.
We might win against Accrington next time.

Why does it seem to have grown in stripes and some stripes look really well taken and others stripes seem a bit threadbare?
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

The pitch still looks a long way off being ready. I wonder if this could be a reason the club have only announced the one pre- season friendly at home so far?

Grass grows at a phenomenal rate when looked after. Water and feed and if you blink it's grown an inch.

a few strange patches left - after a complete overhaul with a new base i'm not sure why that is? Are the stripes that we can see the drainage system or marks from a scarifier or rake?

They were cutting the grass this morning, but there is a lot of bare patches where the grass has not grown.

Doesn't look good to me but I suppose there is 3 weeks before first PSF.

Also didn't think it looked that level as well, but as I have said there is still time to sort it.
We might win against Accrington next time.
