And rightly so - given that they were in the playoff's last year, have strengthened their squad and now have both Hylton & Collins (two 20 goalers up front).
And then there are the likes of Coventry, Swindon, Port Vale, Wycombe etc. I think this season will be much tougher than last year.

Last season the 3 outstanding teams went up.This season we will be up there with Luton and Coventry.Cannot see Wycombe or Port Vale doing that well.Lincoln have made two excellent signings in Green and Bostwick.

FourFourTwo predictions,

1st Stags :D they also refer to Steve Evans as the Donald Trump of League 2
2nd Luton
3rd Wycombe
4th Accy
5th Stevenage
6th Carlisle
7th Exeter

10th Notts Co
11th Lincoln
16th Spireites

23rd Cheltenham
24th Yeovil

Key Players include,
Stags, Jacob Mellis
Accy, Billy Kee
Grimsby, Chris Clements
Lincoln, Nathan Arnold

Although, they predicted we'd finish 24th in season 2015/16

And they weren't far wrong. Cheltenham, Tranmere & Hartlepool were just exceptionally bad.

All these confident predictions of table-topping success worry me.

Predicting Division 4 is like predicting the English weather in summertime.

I'm excited for this season, more optimistic than I've ever been I think. Yet being a Mansfield Town fan instantly gives me that nagging pessimistic feeling that won't go away. Didn't we once top a poll of being the most pessimistic fans in England? East Fife got the honour in Scotland. Think the poll was in The Scottish Sun, about 10 years ago??
Anyway, our club cannot be recognised from those dark days and the progress we've made has been phenomenal.
Was it Liam Gallagher who was giving an interview about the chances of Man City winning the title a few years ago and he said that he could never get too optimistic as it was 'City' they were talking about and he knew they'd implode. But then he said a friend had said to him that this was not the 'City' they'd watched all their lives. This was the new 'City' and things would change. They won the title with the last kick of the season. I'd so love that to be us. :mtfc:

The way looon tore Yeovils midfield and defence apart I can see them walking it. If they play like that all season that is.

All depends how bad Yeovil are too, but by the sounds of it Luton played well. They can't play that well every week.

It's very unusual for the team at the top after 1 game is there after 46.
