And a huge pat on the back to Paul and the club for arranging this. I've said many times that living heroes are often forgotten about until they pass away. It's great that Paul, the club and Kevin Kent could get this arranged.

Whilst MTFC were holding this excellent get together yesterday, Chesterfield were also having a get together. It was to celebrate reaching the Semi Final of the FA Cup 20 years ago. Oh well, I suppose past memories are something they are going to have to get used to.

Did they invite David Elleray? :hysteria: :hysteria:  :hysteria:

It was good to see big George up close and nice to hear him get an especially good reception. My last memory of him was chants of 'Foster Out'.

Great to see them all today, Keith Cassells looks like he could still do a job for us - how we could do with someone of his sheer class in the current team! Some Stags greats there today, but none greater than George.

Thought it was great to see the lads of 87 all looking well. That cup run was just the best. Hope there will be some coverage of the reunion on stagsplayer.

What a special treat attending this night must've been. I'm proper jealous. Cassell's still looks like we could get a 1m if we sold him on.

Incredible effort & achievement from Paul & the MTFC staff to provide this for the fans.

30yrs. Bloody hell.
Hope I'm wrong

I note that Kevin Kent's shock of curly dark hair has gone the same colour as mine!

Mark uploaded not me. Though I was planning to do so if he hadn't.

Good footage as always from our pitchside cameraman Jordan. We've been lucky to have him these past few months.

Fantastic images, evoking some great memories!
It would be great to see the same re-united event for the team that were champions that took us up to the 2nd tier. Their achievement was even than than the Freight Rover cup victory.
It would be wonderful to re-live that moment and see the likes of Peter Morris, Rod Arnold, Sandy Pate, Barry Foster, Colin Foster, Kevin Bird, Kevin Randall, Ernie Moss etc. - parading the Div 3 [aka league 1] champions trophy. (I assume that we still have that in our trophy cabinet?)
There is nothing like a bit of nostalgia to re-inject a 'feel good factor' into being a Stags fan!
