Excellent news. Saw your response to Mez on Twitter.
Thank you doesn't do it justice but it's always nice to hear someone say it.
All the best to your dad.

Hope your dad makes a full recovery and well done to the first aiders prepared to get stuck in and help.

As Belly says, get yourselves on a first aid course if you get chance - if not it's worth noting that the Vinny Jones "hard and fast on the sovereign" advert is good advice that has saved many lives since the campaign started.

"Mouth free resuscitation" (just chest compressions) is totally risk free to the first aider and nearly as effective as full cpr with breaths. Certainly better than nothing.

Good luck Foresttown snr, hope you're back at the Mill soon.

I would like to say a massive thank you to Scott Mezz who was first on the scene to provide help, the stewards were excellent and the first team physios who performed CPR on my dad and successfully brought him back. We have been informed by Kings Mill that the guys that performed CPR on him saved his life.

A massive thank you to anyone who helped today, you are all heroes and I will be forever grateful.

Hope your Dad is ok mate. Good to hear how well the employees of the club dealt with the situation.

Dad recovering well in hospital, doctors advising its amazing he's still with us, so grateful for the fantastic help he received yesterday afternoon.

He's sat up talking and wanted me to let everyone know he's overwhelmed with the support and can't thank you all enough and to those who acted as they did yesterday, he will be forever thankful.

Best wishes to your dad.

It would be nice when your dad is fully recovered if the club could get you both on the pitch before a match with the physio staff so we can all show our appreciation.

Really pleased to hear your dad is recovering well, having known both you and your dad a few years now I was in total shock when I found out, please pass on my best wishes to him and wish him a speedy recovery.

That's amazing what the club officials did, this deserves national recognition, I hope they get it. Really pleased your dad is on the mend too.

Ten a penny politicians and civil servants get awards for doing their jobs (badly) These three deserve at least the freedom of Mansfield for going above and beyond. Club deserves a pat on the back as it must do top level training for this type of incident.,
