Fantastic to hear that the actions of the staff have managed to save a life.

Really hope your Dad makes a full recovery - delighted to hear he is on the mend.

It would be nice when your dad is fully recovered if the club could get you both on the pitch before a match with the physio staff so we can all show our appreciation.

Or visit him in hospital? I think I saw a similiar-ish story on TV last night at Leicester and the Foxes sent a club representative - perhaps the Stags have already done, of course.
Just an idea.

Hope it goes well, let us know when he's through it. Also well done to Jamie, again shows what he offers the club on top of playing. Passion on and off the pitch and an appreciation for fans like your father.

Saw your dad at a lot of games over the years a ''proper supporter''. Hope he makes a full recovery, all the best.

Operation was completed yesterday and went well. Had a brief scare as a bleed was forming round his heart but he's now ok and has finally come round.

Now a few days in ICU and a few more on the ward and he will hopefully be back home. An end to a bit of a rollercoaster ride for myself and family, a massive thank you to everyone who has commented on here and also taken the time to ask after him at matches.

Let's hope we can finish this miracle off with promotion into League 1!

Glad your Dad's had his miracle and hope he goes from strength to strength. The Stags need more than a miracle now I think with who we've got to play.
