Spiro I go away down sarf for a couple of days and the scorefred goes to pot. Been hijacked by another apprentice, SFL late again, no teabags in cupboard.

It does not inspire confidence but we will win this 2-1

Not so bud, our young apprentice posted the first thread at the appointed time ('Let's have a goal' thread was his original fred, editted) but then Woody muscled his way in on Thursday morning. It seems SFL has had crisis of confidence similar to our strikers.
I only hope we win or Woody'll better watch through t'curtains on Sat night for a band of fans marching down his street wi pitchforks n flaming torches. ;)

4-2 seems most likely. Stags 2-0 down at half time, then a rip-roaring comeback in the second half.

Striker roulette. Who Evans picks, nobody knows!
The Stags are for life, not just for cup finals. (or Liverpool).

The team selection deserved the win. Keep attacking

Danny Rose was superb. Bullies their defence and won every header.

Raynes didn't like it and was having a go at full time. He's still absolutely garbage.

I wondered how they were at the top of the league with him at the back...

Only 1 team trying to win, they didn't really have a go till the 85th min... We played really well and howkins slotted in well after coming on and won everything, and everyone else had good games, the standouts for me, white, shaq and rose only criticism for me was I thought at times we were 10 yards to deep as a unit which left shaq isolated in closing down other than that, well deserved 3 points and clean sheet

I've said for months our forward selection should start with Rose and then pick whoever is playing the best to play with him - he was again outstanding today and showed why he is the best forward at the club, by a distance. He made a huge difference to those around him and whilst I have no doubt Green and Coulthirst will get the headlines, Rose was so much better than either of them. In fact, Green and Coulthirst were very poor in the first half but took their goals superbly so credit to them. All Danny was missing was a goal, but it was a 9/10 for me.

As for the officials, who I often defend, they were shocking - that throw that was ours 2nd half on the right wing was embarrassing for them, truly embarrassing.
