We will win this one, but, as regards your team:

IMO the defence needs shaking up, Benning is out of form, I would like to see the return of Taft or howkins, both are now fit.

Green should be dropped to the bench as my granny would have put away at least three of the chances he's missed recently, so I would start with either Hoban and rose or arquin and rose

This is literally last chance saloon for them to nick 7th spot.

If they lose, then a lot of them are out of contract, that simple.

Simply a must win match.

Don't think Hoban and Hemmings will get another game before end of season. Got to be Danny and Shaq up front for me. Worked after Christmas, why not now?

I have no idea, I'm just going with my lad and we will both be singing loud and proud to cheer the lads to 3 points!!!

Don't lose faith just yet, there is still 18 points available from sides above us...

Why has all the Colchester fred been mixed up with the Carlisle one? We now have the first three and a half pages of the Carlisle fred all discussing what happened on Tuesday night. All this meddlin will lead to no good... ''we're DOOOMED I tell ye''.

It was me 'tater, messing about and basically messed up.

I will try and get someone more technically than me (eggy?) to sort it out.
Will we ever let in another goal with Pearce at centre back.

Stags 4 games without scoring.
Carlisle 5 games without scoring.
This has 6-6 draw written all over it . . .

I'm disappointed that Evans hasn't got to grips with the long-term striking problem. But it's no use moaning about our strikers being not good enough. Perhaps the best tactic is to keep fingers crossed that they remember what to do and hope that it's just one of those blips, albeit several months old.

I wouldn't drop Green as he's been good apart from the final (oh-so-important) touch. I'd move him back into a forward midfield position, with instructions to NOT shoot unless it's virtually a tap-in. That might have the effect of making him more relaxed about his duties, and find time to strike the ball cleanly rather than the rushed approach he seems to have got stuck with. He doesn't seem to work well with a strike partner anyway (except for Rhead).
In my view Rose is the most likely to revive a spell of goalscoring and has a range of skills. I know that Hamilton can be frustrating, but at the very least he occupies defenders and he's our only pacey player. Whiteman must surely score again soon, perhaps with a good assist from Green. Pearce and Bennett ought to get goals from corners - I hope they've been working on it, this aspect has been very disappointing lately. I'd see how it goes with

---------------- Shearer -----------------
White - Bennett - Pearce - Benning
---------------- Collins -------------------
-- Whiteman - Byrom - Hamilton--
---------------- Green -----------------------
----------------- Rose ------------------------

then consider Coulthirst for Green or Rose, and McDonald for Byrom if we need more attacking options.

we may see the return of howkins or taft soon, they will be raring to get back in the team.

we desperately need a goal, we are playing some great football and when it all clicks we will batter a few teams. i'll go for a 2-1 win

Spiro I go away down sarf for a couple of days and the scorefred goes to pot. Been hijacked by another apprentice, SFL late again, no teabags in cupboard.

It does not inspire confidence but we will win this 2-1
