As much as this lad should never be on a football pitch after what he did, he makes goalkeeping look easy and our flapper look Sunday league.

Even if he deserved to be released he should of been aloud to play professional football.

We should make a huge bid for Blackman from chelsea, i think he's the best keeper in the league.
As clough used to say you start building a good team from the back, our defence is alright we just need an outstanding keeper.

Agreed but he's on 13000 a week so no chance, think Evans will sort a keeper pre season.

Anyone could make it look easy compared to Shearer.

He is absolute sewage.

It cannot be condoned what the Plymouth keeper did in the past but he has done his time.

On a football theme, he was where he needed to be at all times, he must be vying with the Wycombe loaner for best keeper in League 2..

Having said that, we should have given him no chance with three of our six first half chances.

Game plan worked a treat but couldn't net, it's a really big problem, that's seven less points than we should have.

Is it time to give Whiteman a rest?

No, he should be able to ply his trade however, what did he serve, 4 years for killing two young children and wrecking the lives of his parents.

We always have a scapegoat and despite the fact he did nothing wrong today, nick has decided it was Shearer and not those who did cost us the game today!

Shearer or Green, they seem to be the current favourites, no one individual was at fault today, but let's not spoil it for them.

Exactly. Two brilliant pieces of skill by Carey, but Shearer gets the blame. What about Bennett's defending at the far post or the fact we give away a silly free kick in a dangerous position. Shearer is nowhere near the best keeper we've had but his fault today? No, the fault is down to poor finishing. I'm sure Carey would have finished both those chances we failed to put away.

It's a message board for opinions and my opinion is that Shearer is crap.

And for the record a half decent keeper wouldn't have conceded that first goal.

Plymouth fans must be so proud of themselves, clapping a murderer onto the pitch in the second half.

I'd rather lose 2-0 than have that low-life playing in my team.

I take it then that you never clapped Adam Chapman or celebrated any of his goals?
