SE says Thomas has a contract for next season, one of the few, so it's up to Jack to step up to the plate at Barrow, show some determination, guts and desire to get back into the EFL.

Good luck to the lad.

Let's hope that jack takes this opportunity with both hands and really shows big Steve what he can do

Jack came on at 65 mins with barrow 2-0 down.

Game ended 2-2 with barrow finishing with 9 men and jack finishing the game.

Jack not in Barrow's squad tonight for the game against Macclesfield. Is he injured?

I'm not sure yet. But Barrow have just signed 3 young Championship players on loan. So they have 8 players on loan. Only 5 loan players can be in the squad.

Could be the reason Martin. Barrow had two sent off in their last game ( and another one sent off so far tonight). So maybe the other loanees are covering their positions. I hope Jack gets game time as reward for trying to restart his career.

I think you must all have short memories if you think JT will get plenty of game time at Barrow.

How many players did we have on loan under Cox and how many games did they get?. Doesn't matter how good they are, he sticks with his own.

Cox will play him if he's up to the mark. If he's not and does not look sharp in training he won't.

Steve Evans has brought players in to our team and they are not starting every game. Arquin, Potter.

JT has options. If apparently he is now not good enough for the Stags or even Barrow then he surely should be good enough to get into Boston's match day squad under Murray? He needs matches and probably set his expectations too high at Barrow?

You make a good point. PC used to frustrate me when he signed loan players and hardly used them. For Jack's sake I hope that doesn't happen.

He'd have been better going to somewhere like Alfreton

He played the full 90 minutes yesterday in the goalless draw against Torquay.

Ur an idiot!!

No problem not rating someone but don't belittle or make sarcastic remarks for a young man trying to kick start his career and get it back on track!

It wasn't aimed at Jack Thomas by the way. Id love to see him go and carve a good career for himself.

One thing I would say is that he doesn't strike me as a Cox kind of player, all his lads seem to be 6ft+

Personally think he will have to go down 1 step further in the football pyramid to get back on track, and I'm sure he would do that if required.

If his expectations are too high at Barrow he will never get in our squad again.
