Agreed.

28 points, not 30.

We need to continue the remainder of the season with automatic promotion form to make the play-offs.

This time last year we were also 7th, with 48 points from 32 games (1 more point than we've got this season).

2 of the teams who got promoted last season were below us after we had played 32 games, Bristol Rovers were 8th with 47 points but had only played 30 games, whilst Wimbledon were 10th with 45 points from 29 games.

When you look at the pack just behind us, several clubs have a chance of making the play-offs. We can do it, but it's not going to be easy!

Let's just say under Murray we might have been in a relegation scrap right now, but since Evans has come in we are in with a chance of going up. Nobody could have predicted that 3-4 months ago. So let's just enjoy the ride for the next few months and see where it takes us. COYS

9 of our 11 remaining games are versus the top 10.

We've got 1 more point this season after 35 games compared to last season.

If 71 points is enough we would need 19 points from 10 games (1.9 points per game).

Really good performance today, apart from taking our chances.

We can still do it :D but the margin for error is getting smaller, especially with 6/10 games left away.

If 71 points is enough we would need 19 points from 9 games (2.1 points per game).

PLD.......W.........D..........L.........PTS
9............6...........1....…...2...........19. :D
9............5...........4..........0...........19

Stags League form under Steve Evans is play-off form, PLD21, W9, D6, L6, PTS33, PPG1.57 over 46 games is 72.2 points.

Stags 52 points from 37 games is exactly the same points total as last season, we need another 12 points to equal last years end of season total of 64 points.

It's now looking a very tall order to win 6 out of 9, when we've only won 1 out of the last 7.

Let's just hope we stay in contention for the remaining games so the season doesn't become pointless. And then play offs, Wembley. Another great season

Just think

If we go up and Forest come down

or

we stay down, Lincoln come up and Port Vale, Chesterfield & Coventry City come down. Plenty of close away games to enjoy.

If we can beat Morecambe ( they have a midweek game which may make it a bit easier for
us ), then our home game against Exeter will be the most important game of the season so far. Win that, then I think the momentum will take us into the end of season playoffs.

It's very grim.

Nice pub not far from ground though.

It's not really grim, i can get up do a walk down a nice promenade with views accross the bay to the Lake District, like most places some parts are better than others, but overall it's a good area to live in.
Get yersen up here and make your own mind up.
The supporters bar is good, the pub on site does cheap food and is modern, your only a mile or so from the prom with pubs to suit all tastes.

So where are the five wins and a draw coming from?

Wins - morecambe (a)
Crawley (a)
Exeter (h)
Luton (h)
Portsmouth (h)

And a draw at one of these
Wycombe
Doncaster
Stevenage

A tall order but I think we can do it.
We might win against Accrington next time.
