I have a mate who's a Chesterfield fan, he rang their ticket office (he's not a season ticket holder and hasn't been much this season due to work) and was told they're only on sale to season ticket holders at the moment but she would ring him back as soon as they're on general sale as 'they are struggling to get rid of them'

from a look on their board they’ve still got 410 left and have said ST holders can buy two now instead of one
and another bloke is saying he’s got 20 tickets in our end...

20 fans in our end? Law of averages says one is bound to be a jizzwhistle and give up the game on the rest of them.
I wish them the best of luck, they're going to need it.

Even though we've not hit top gear yet, judging by their highlights (if you can call them that) - we are gonna marmalize them!!!!
For the first time in ages I have no nerves about this one. If we play poorly, we win by 1 or 2... if we play well we get 4 or 5!!
This is what I feel.

I am amazed that they are struggling to sell their tickets. Couldn’t sell out for Lincoln and 1300 to Notts is conference level support. Problem now is that their remaining tickets will be snapped up by their derby and sheff u pals looking to have a pop at us. Get that gate closed early!

Derby fans don't care about us only teams they have eyes for is Forest and Leicester. Spireites don't even like sheff u (they were their new local rivals during our conference years) doubt they have pals and again won't care about us as their focus is on Sheff Wed and promotion to the premier league.

They've only gone one general sale this morning. The majority of people have had no opportunity to buy before today.
Some of you make it sound like they've been available for weeks.

I've been having a look on bobs board about the ticketing "fiasco" and I thought we were bad at organisation! The stubs idea from away games doesn't appear to have gone down too well.
Still, according to your board there will be thousands in our home ends

So why have they increased it to 2 tickets per person?
If it was us, they'd be all gone by now.

This is what worries me. You've only got to look at us against Notts County to see what can happen.

Yeah it was bizarre to play Notts with them above us.

They were above us last season also when we beat them.
Incidentally when was the last time we played away at Notts County in a league game when we were in the top half of the table? Anyone know?

If we were in their position we wouldn't have sold out.

My daughters partner is a Spireite, not a rabid, passionate die hard, like us, but a fan nonetheless, a real civilised chap and will be there on the day.
I can't imagine what it will be like if they win.....we have to prevail !

Some of you have extremely short memories.
Apart from your sell-out last time (new ground, post-promotion excitement explains the exception) you never came close to doing likewise at Saltergate.

We usually had a sell out at the away end, just several hundred went missing in the pot-holes in that dump. 2003 - 2,300 away fans - what did your end hold?
