This actually made me chuckle. Both Towns are almost identical in terms of population and support, but as has been said, Haslam almost killed us off and the stay away supporters are only just slowly creeping back. It won’t take much more for us to overtake you guys and for lots of your support to stay away too SaD!!!

A deluded fan of a tin pot non league club. So funny.

You can bet that if they take more than 426, then Chumpta will be on claiming they are a bigger club than us.

Well, I am surprised that Chumpta has not been back on as 853 sheep travelled to Ebbsfleet.

So twice a big a club than us. ;) ;)

I’d be surprised if we didn’t have 1500 at Salford on Saturday

Oh I forgot. Is that the non league they are playing Tuesday.
It was the premier when we won it. My apologies and I hope when they see barrow for the first time
they realise it's another 2 hrs to go round to get there :?
Lose to accy in the efl cup or win at barrow away on a Tuesday night.
That's a very hard question.

One could reasonably argue that Barrow and Chesterfield are bigger, better clubs than EGL giants Accy and Mansfield

Crowd will probably be bigger too

Speaking of away days, I can't think about your club without thinking back to that beautiful day in April, when 2,600 of us walked down Sheffield Road and taunted your fans about your impending relegation. Best away day ever.

Seems like the skum have been reading this  They talk about us being obsessed with them, but they keep checking in to read this thread.

http://www.thecfss.co.uk/forums/index.p ... 3416&st=20

They really are incredibly deluded. Of course they have higher gates than us. They've been in higher leagues in recent times. It's not rocket science is it? The higher you are, the better crowds you'll get. When they've suffered 5 years in the conference and had every ounce of optimism drained from them by their owners, just as we did, we'll see how many they get. Until then, all comparisons are off. At least one of them on there seems to recognise that.

I suggest you actually read the whole of ParisStag's post before making yourself look like even more of a helmet.

Here it is again, considering it was so difficult to find it the first time.

Yeah, you've been higher than us in recent years. We've had a long spell of sufferance. Therefore, your crowds are currently higher. That will change though. Your crowds over the last 5 years are on a downward trajectory and ours are on an upward one - proof that success attracts fans and failure send them away.

Perhaps it’s because you lot doff your cap to your Lord and Master DA, and keep paying your cash to keep him in control.

How many takeovers at The Prozac, yet the Sheffield lot are still calling the shots.

Even the sensible “not a penny more brigade” are dwindling.

Well, we’ve had three seasons of total disaster, two successive relegations and we play home games against Braintree and our bumper Xmas fixtures are against Solihull

You’ve had a promotion (champions?)
You’re best ever season for a generation and are spending money that hardly anyone else can compete with

So surely this balance of power should have shifted by now?

The townfolk of Chesterfield just seem to value their club more.

You're dead right

Now you can crack on with your other hobby of searching and destroying Derbyshire livestock ;)

Shout out what a big club you have and watch em flock

Dan, you're dead right, their "not a penny more" protest attracted 10 fans, 6 more than their "pants on head" protest.

Our Haslam our campaign was nothing compared to their titanic struggle

And that’s exactly why they will struggle to shake off DA.

Just imagine if we had been the same with Hasloan.
